If I look this cute, will I fool Santa?

Parker and Claire went to have some time with Santa this morning. The photographer we use always has Santa sessions for the kids to visit with Santa and have their picture taken. Parker told Santa the he wants a haunted house, space shuttle, and skeleton riding a motorcycle (clearly he's had his list all planned out for weeks). Claire asked for a dollhouse with a lot of people.

Tearjerker for sure!

I read this whole book in one day! It was really good, but so sad!

Gobble! Gobble!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family in Kentucky. The kids loved playing in the bouncy house the whole time we were there. The food was wonderful and it was so great to see everyone. Thanks Aunt Sharon and Uncle Doug!

So tired after bouncing and playing nonstop for two days!

My Smallest Turkey

ThansClaire's preschool class had a fun Thanksgiving party. I was so glad I got to celebrate with her and all her sweet friends.

Isn't it a little early for this?

We woke up this morning to snow. That's so unusual in November! Parker and Claire were out of school, so we played outside and made cookies. I couldn't find my turkey cookie cutter so we used the pumpkin cutter.

Surveying the situation

Parker named his grassy snowball Michael. He didn't want to leave it outside and even kissed it goodbye.

How I Spent My Morning

Turkey 101

Parker had to make a turkey project for kindergarten. He did it all by himself and was so proud. We think it's a mighty fine turkey!

Claire worked on her own
"work". We think it's an abstract turkey. Can't you see it?

Just Pinch Me

I can't believe it's a Saturday with nowhere to go and nothing to do. I'm thankful for a break from the chaos to relax and spend time together this morning. What a great morning! The bacon doesn't hurt anything either...

Happy 3rd Birthday Claire!

Claire turned 3 on October 10. Here are some pictures from her preschool party, her "real" birthday at Chuck E. Cheese, her birthday morning at home, and Hello Kitty party. We love you sweet girl!

My First Blog

I can't believe I'm finally taking the leap! I've been lurking around "blogworld" for a long time. I love reading other's blogs, so I'm finally starting my own. Bear with me....
