The High Dive ~ Yes, you heard me right

While I was away for the weekend, the kids went to Kayla's birthday party at the Country Club. They both jumped off THE HIGH DIVE. Of course I don't have any pictures of it because Brian was in charge of the camera. He isn't as quick on the draw with the camera as I am! He did take a few pictures of them swimming though.

Here's Colin on the high dive. Can you believe my itty bitty babies did that??? I'm sure it was better that I wasn't there.

I hear that they also had loads of fun at Fun Expedition the next day, but I have no pictures because...ahem.....

Toy Story 3

Wednesday night, Parker spent his "tooth money" on a blizzard. He felt it was $2 well spent! Yesterday, I took the kids to see Toy Story 3. It was really cute, and we loved it!

We ate lunch at Ridgewood (yum) then went to A2Z School Supply store to get some things for my classroom. I also made two trips to the school yesterday and finally to get hair cuts for my crew. It was a busy day for sure!

Jonesborough

We went to Jonesborough today for early voting. I tried to explain voting to the kids, and I hope they realize the importance of it. Then we ate lunch at Main Street Cafe and walked around Jonesborough.

Did you notice Claire's tiara? She wore it all day!

All I Want For Labor Day

Last night, Parker and Claire had fun playing outside in the sprinkler and water rocket. It's been pretty hot, so it was a fun way to be outside and stay cool.

THEN.......
Claire was leaning over the water rocket, and Parker was leaning over her. She raised up and knocked his already loose teeth. Claire has a huge knot on her head, and Parker has two less teeth! One of the teeth is hidden somewhere in the yard and is yet to be found. The other was barely hanging, so he pulled it right out. His new teeth have already pushed through the gums, so we think he'll have them soon. Since he will have them before Christmas, I decided we should sing "All I want for Labor Day is my two front teeth...."!
I think he's proud of his new look. I told him he looks a little like a vampire (which he loved of course). He's even prouder of the money the tooth fairy left for him.

My baby keeps growing up whether I like it or not!

Farmer's Market

Yesterday after church, we drove to Asheville to go to the Farmer's Market. Brian had really been wanting to go for a while, so off we went! We stopped by the mall for lunch and for me to go to Charlotte Russe. I really like that store, and we don't have one around here or even in Knoxville.

Weekend Fun

Friday, we went to Knoxville to see Megan's new apartment and spend the day with her. The apartment is really cute, and we had lots of fun at the mall. I may have had to make a stop at Homegoods too (that's my new obsession). It was so good to see Megan even though she's only been gone for two weeks. We miss our Maggie! This morning, Parker was in full costume entertaining us. Here is a "prince"...
And a country singer/pirate/mariachi singer...

Love that boy so much!

We went to Sam's of course then swimming this afternoon.

Time for s'mores!

Hope you had a fun day!
