Happy Saturday!

Max took a little nap with his Santa Hedgehog.

 What a sweet boy!
We visited with some family from Indiana tonight.  Brian's Uncle Bill and Aunt Patsy and their children/ grandchildren were here for dinner.
The kids all loved playing and hanging out with each other.

It was really nice to see all of them!
One more picture of my true love and me!
Happy Saturday!

On The Friday After Christmas

My true love gave to me...

A trip to Chuck E. Cheese
(not really for me exactly)

After CEC, we went to Nana's for a while to visit.
Then over to Ron and Freddie's for Christmas.

Christmas is officially complete.  I think.

Movie Time!

Brian and I saw Les Miserables yesterday.  We both have seen the play several times, and we own the recording.  We were really excited about seeing the movie.  It was very good!
Meanwhile, the kids went with Nana to see Wreck-It Ralph.  They both loved it too!
Brian and I also got to go out to dinner ALONE so that was fun too!  We are enjoying these wonderful days off from school and still have some more fun things to look forward to this weekend.

The Day After Christmas

The day after Christmas was spent at home.  In pajamas.  All day.

We were all so worn out.

We spent a lot of time putting together and playing with new toys.

Claire and her new horse played on the computer.

The new Slurpee machine came out.

We had a nice, restful day at home!

Christmas Day 2012

Santa came to our house!
(A lot of these pictures are blurry!)

Cookie and carrots were mostly eaten! We even saw some carrots out on the patio!
Santa wrote a message since Claire requested he "rite back".
 The Waiting

Baby Jesus arrived in our Nativity.

 Stocking time!

 Lots of presents!

Reading about the birth of Jesus and remembering the reason we celebrate!

 The traditional "Christmas Morning Extravaganza"

 Playing new video games
 Alien Autopsy

Nana came by to see what Santa brought and watch some Just Dance.
We went over to Ron and Freddie's for dinner.  She made a wonderful lasagna which was eaten before I had a chance to take a picture.  We made Pioneer Woman's Apple Dumplings.  She served them to us when we were at the ranch.  I've been wanting to make them for a while, and they were just as good as we remembered.
Lisa and Chad are visiting family in Alabama, so we will have Christmas again on Friday.  Something to look forward to!

The kids each opened one gift though to hold them over until Friday.

 Parker got more Monster Legos!

Claire loves her new (HUGE) dry erase board to help her play school!

 Freddie in her footie pajamas.
I'm sure I'll have more family pictures to post after we celebrate again on Friday.

We hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas too!
