Some family came to visit from Kentucky, so we had a little reunion of sorts.

We found some duck eggs hiding in this plant.

Happy Birthday Max!

Max had his first birthday on June 22! We had a little party to celebrate!

He enjoyed his cupcake.

No, we don't usually let him eat at the table,

but it was his birthday after all.

We sang Happy Birthday, and he blew out his candles (kind of)...

Then it was Just Dance time!

Happy Birthday Sweet Max!

Max's Surgery

Max had his special "big boy surgery" about a week and a half ago. He did well, but out of thirty dogs that had surgery that day, he and another sheltie were the only two that had to wear the special collar. He just couldn't stop "checking things out" so he had to wear it for about a week. Bless his little heart!

He's all better now!

Father's Day 2011

Brian chose Applebee's for lunch on Father's Day. Applebee's is still dead to me, but I kindly went along for his benefit. Nana went with us!

Then home to open his gift.

Marinated artichoke hearts (his favorite)

A shirt

Two Zac Brown cds (really more for me ~ hee, hee)

He also got the Apples to Apples game (more for the kids since they are the ones that love it).

Happy Father's Day Daddy!

Savannah

On the way home from Orlando, we stopped in Savannah. Brian and I really enjoyed our visit there back in early April. I am a little obsessed with this fountain!

Parker and Claire enjoyed playing at the park for a little while. Ask me if it was HOT?!?!

Tornado Warning

A few weeks ago, we were at my mom's house during a tornado warning. Megan was with us too! Here she is being silly with a pillow on her head in mom's basement.

We survived!
