We had a great day! We went to church this morning. Here are Parker and Claire posing sweetly when we got home.

Well Apparently
No news is expensive news! Wow! The computer is back, but we may not be eating next week after paying for the repair. I'm thankful that nothing was lost (unless you count Brian's whole profile and email account). As little as he uses the computer, he probably won't even notice. Now he may notice the lack of food...

No News Is Good News?
That's what I'm hoping for! Still no word on the computer. Still praying for a full recovery!

If Loving You Is Wrong, I Don't Want To Be Right...
My Dearest Computer,
I see that you have betrayed me once again. I know that I haven't always done the best job of...ahem...backing up my pictures and documents. Things have certainly not been the same between us since I got my beloved Blackberry, but this is cruel and unnecessary punishment. I've lost sleep wondering if you'll pull through. I've been forced to face my addiction to you head on. And now, I'm forced to feed my addiction elsewhere. In fact, I'm at Mom and Dad's working on their computer. I'm pretty sure it's circa 1982. I can't even see the full screen while I type. Why have you driven me to this? I've dropped you off at the doctor and hope to hear a report soon. Until then....

How I Spent New Year's Eve
After lunch, we noticed a big knot on the side of his neck. The pediatrician was already closed OF COURSE. I talked to his doctor on the phone and decided to take him to the clinic to get the doctor there to check out the knot. It appears to be a swollen lymph node probably due to his resent sinus issues. The mama in me is still a little concerned, but I am trying hard not to worry. If you know me at all, then you know that I tend to be a worrier, especially over health issues!
We went for an icee and rides at the mall after the doctor visit.
"Don"t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life."
