Wonderful Weekend

Brian and I just returned from a weekend trip to Atlanta. Last night, we went to see the Zac Brown Band. It was a great concert! Zac had three opening acts, and he sang with every one of them. He also had Joey and Rory there too. I watched them when they were on "Can You Duet?", and they were my favorites. The show was over four hours long. It got really cold when the sun went down so I was glad to have my jacket and a blanket since it was an outdoor concert. Today we ate lunch at Bahama Breeze. It was really good! I think we'll definitely go back sometime. Unfortunately, we don't have one around here.
We had planned to spend some time at North Point Mall, but we wanted to drive by North Point Community Church where Andy Stanley is the pastor since we were so close. We just happened to go by there right as they were starting their third service of the day. We made a quick decision to stay for the service and were so glad we did. Andy's wife Sandra spoke with him today, and we enjoyed it so much.

After we picked up the kids and visited for a bit with both of our moms, we headed home. Both kids had made me some very special Mother's Day presents. Here's the heart that Parker made for me. Isn't it pretty? I love it!
Claire made me a Mother's Day book, and it is SO special!
Then Brian and the kids gave me their other cards and gift.

The reason(s) that I'm a mother~
I love them so much! Thank you Lord for the blessing of children!

I'm so glad you had a great weekend away! I saw Claire today at church. She looked like such a big girl with her legs crossed.
