We have had a nice weekend just enjoying some family time together. The kids have loved finally being back in the pool after what seemed like a long winter.
Today we went to see Night at the Museum. 
The showing we went to see was sold out, so we were forced to eat at Italian Village (some of my favorite pizza in the world) while we waited for the next showing. It was a pleasant and unexpected surprise!

Finally it was time for the movie.
The movie was so cute! I thought it was even better than the first one.We came home and broke out the new slip & slide.
They never really got the hang of doing it, but had a blast since Daddy helped them every time! Brian told me he thinks our kids may have inherited my athleticism. That's not a good thing. For example, this is what I did while all the rest were slippin' and slidin' (including Daddy): 
I sat in a chair and took pictures! I am a great cheerleader too! However, I do not think hurling myself on a wet piece of plastic is fun. I do bet it would have made for some mighty hilarious pictures though!Then they switched over to the sprinkler. More fun!

We've also had problems with birds laying eggs in our ferns. I think its happened 2 or 3 times and Tim has "disposed" of it. I surely couldn't do it but I guess somebody's gotta do it. Otherwise, you have a huge mess when the little ones are hatched.
It looks like you guys had a fun weekend. My in-laws also tried to go see "Night at the Museum" this weekend, but it was sold out for them, too. It must be really good. I'm glad you guys had fun.

How nice. That slip n slide looks mighty fun! I am realizing how grown up Claire is looking these days. She is really changing and so cute.
