On Halloween, we carved our pumpkin.
Parker and Claire always draw out on paper the face that they want on the pumpkin. Then Brian draws it onto the pumpkin. It works for us.
Then everybody works together to carve it.
Parker reminded us that we made Baked Ziti last Halloween, so I guess it's a new tradition.
Parker DID decide to wear the whoopee cushion for another year. Claire just had a simple dress that she called a vampire queen. She created that hairdo as well.
I think she looks so grown up in the pictures of handing out candy.
Parker wasn't very interested in posing, so I have a lot more pictures of Claire.
Home to dump out the Halloween Haul.
After the festivities, we watched It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (the really old cartoon version). We always watch both of those on Halloween night.
They both said it was the best Halloween ever. I'm not sure why they thought that, but it made me happy.
