We may be past Christmas music these days, but this song title is very appropriate for today. At 8:30 this morning, when I took Claire to preschool, my car registered the temperature outside as 9 degrees. The wind chill was even lower than that. I'm so thankful it hasn't been very windy. That would truly make it unbearable.
Parker was out of school today due to "extreme temperatures" so he got to run around with me all morning. He loves to "go places" with me. One of his biggest complaints about starting kindergarten this year is that he might miss out on "going places". Today at lunch he said, "I love town". Makes us sound like we live in the little house on the prairie. "Come on honey, let's saddle up ol' Nelly and ride into town."

I was working on my blog and messing with my FeedJit gadget and came across your blog when I realized I could find other area blogs. It HAS been cold here!
Thanks for coming by our blog. I feel like I should know you. I always think I know someone if they are from Tennessee! I grew up in Hendersonville and went to school in Knoxville.
Keep warm!
