How I Spent New Year's Eve

I'll bet yours was less stressful than mine... Parker in the walk-in clinic.
After lunch, we noticed a big knot on the side of his neck. The pediatrician was already closed OF COURSE. I talked to his doctor on the phone and decided to take him to the clinic to get the doctor there to check out the knot. It appears to be a swollen lymph node probably due to his resent sinus issues. The mama in me is still a little concerned, but I am trying hard not to worry. If you know me at all, then you know that I tend to be a worrier, especially over health issues!

We went for an icee and rides at the mall after the doctor visit.

"Don"t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life."
Philippians 4:6-7 (The Message)

We will be praying for peace of mind for you and that the knot goes down quickly for Parker. We get to have the wonderful previledge to all three girls to the doctor tomorrow. Over the New Year holiday when there was not a doctor open, all three have coughs that have gotten worse.
