Catching Up On Summer

We've certainly had a busy and fun summer. I have lots of pictures to show what's been going on around here.

We had some family in from California for a few days. The kids loved tubing on the lake!

  

 The kids and I made a yummy pink lemonade cake.

 Brian and I celebrated our 14th anniversary. My mom got us these pretty flowers and balloon.

 We went to Greeneville to visit Aunt Wava.

 Everybody helped decorate for VBS.

 We celebrated the 4th of July with a cookout and swimming.

 

 Then we went to watch fireworks. Believe it or not, it was actually cold!

 The Kona Ice truck came by our house ~ yum!

 Brian and I went out to dinner with Scott and Wendy at Tupelo Honey Cafe. It was great!

 Brian celebrated a very special birthday ~ 40!!!

 The kids played almost every day outside with friends.

 We set up the "Redneck Waterslide".

 We went back to the Kingsport Aquatic Center.

 Parker went to Golden Corral on a field trip and loved it. He talked it up to Claire, and they begged us all summer to go there. It is not my favorite place, but we finally took them!

 We celebrated Lucy Cate turning 3!

 We survived shoe shopping!

 We went to a surprise birthday party for Colin.

We have been playing and having fun nonstop. I still have to post about our beach trip and back to school! Stay tuned...
