Brian and I had a fun trip to Charlotte to see Jason Aldean & Luke Bryan! We had free tickets and great seats, so that made it even better (thanks Andy)! It was over 100 degrees and the humidity must have been 4,268%. Seriously. I've never been so hot in my life. But Jason and Luke were SO worth it!
I'm still working on converting Brian to a full-time country bumpkin. He already liked Jason and Luke as far as country goes. He also admitted the concert was really good, and they both sounded great live. So maybe I'm one step closer to getting him in those boots and hat. Unlikely, but a girl can dream...

Hi everyone! I just want to offer a word of advice. If you are attending a concert at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, allow PLENTY of time to arrive! We were at a hotel 2.5 miles away and it took an hour and a half to get into the parking lot which caused us to miss the first part of Luke's set! Now, I know that some of you reading this don't know much about my temperament, but I can get a little impatient in traffic (Michele can tell you many stories). I won't say that I was getting angry, but let's just say, hornets have seen better days. The amphitheater was very nice, however, it will probably be the last time I see it. I will give my wife a lot of credit. Even though she got a little hot under the collar a couple times along with me, she was able to keep me fairly calm (even when we had to sit in another hour of traffic trying to get out of the concert). She may be getting a tiny bit closer to getting me into boots and a hat, but it will not be at that venue! Yee-haw, giddy up!
